We realize this is a little late, but we came across this tidbit after a 'google' search. It's classic Barry Groveman spin. City Councilman Barry Groveman said that residents overwhelmingly support the law. “I've been threatened personally, and had one very violent phone call, but where we're getting the complaints are mostly places far away from here, like Tennessee and Virginia," Groveman said. "In my informal assessment, reaction from Calabasas citizens is like 8 to 1 in favor.”
What a true American, sacrificing in the face of those stupid rednecks in Tennesseese and Virginia, home of the evil tobacco companies. We feel soooo much safer now here in Calabasas.
