State Department Warns Students of Perils at Spring Break

The State Department is warning students about the perils of travel in foreign countries during spring break. It's not all bleak however as the State Dept explains on an upbeat note, saying "it's possible to have a fun trip if risky behavior is avoided". And who would know better than those party animals at State???

The Calabasas Chronicle has compiled a list of tips that we think the State Department would approve:

Tips For Safe and Fun Spring Break

1) Be aware of local library book-lending spans. Overdue books can lead to excessive fines.

2) Know local museum visiting hours.

3) Be mindful of "Scenic Overlook" boundaries.

4) Do not feed animals at local zoos unless authorized.

5) Utilize waste containers- do not litter.

6) Get plenty of sleep- touring is much more fun when well-rested.

7) Have a great spring break and be ready to "hit the books" when you get back to school.
